See Through 4 is a moniker for a rotating cast of Toronto-based musicians that play tunes by bassist Pete Johnston. On this outing Johnston is joined by Marilyn Lerner on piano, Karen Ng on saxophone, and Nick Fraser on drums.

"False Ghosts and Minor Fears" is the second album in a jazz trilogy, building on 2020's "Bog Standards" with more tunes that blur the lines between composition and improvisation in the tradition of the Jimmy Giuffre 3, Carla Bley, and Ornette Coleman, this time with some 1980s King Crimson added for good measure.
